Dr. Butungane will be serving as an anesthesia resident at the University of Rwanda, College of Medicine and Health Sciences.

The second child of 8, Dr. Butungane graduated from Hope Africa University in 2018 and has worked as a General Practicioner at Byumba District Hospital. Afterwards, he applied for and was accepted into the Anesthesiology Department at the University of Rawanda, College of Medicine and Health Sciences.
